Derek Garden Centre is situated in the vicinity of Sta Venera by-pass, in a 16th Century hunting lodge which belonged to the family for generations. The Director, Mr. Melosaul Balzan has wisely dedicated his time transforming this vast old building which was a hunting lodge of the grandmasters of Malta into an enjoyable and relaxing Garden Centre, a place worth visiting.

Derek Garden Centre was established in 1988 by the director Melosaul Balzan. The main outlet is based in Qormi, in the centre of Malta. Derek Garden Centre provides a series of products and services for the basic home gardening needs and also for national projects of landscaping. The Centre now employs 8 full time persons and 10 part-timers. All staff are well trained to offer the service that the well esteemed clients deserve. During these years of operation, Derek Garden Centre has always put quality first based on competitive prices and a commitment to on-time completion of projects. This has given Derek Garden Centre the hard earned reputation of a fine and professional garden centre.
